3-hour course covering techniques to hand stitch and construct a small multipurpose fabric cross body bag. Kantha, Boro and basic embroidery stitching as well as fabric collage, layout planning, and construction are all covered in this class. We’ll learn to make fabric rope for the strap and add other embellishment as well. Curated multi colored palette kit included in course fee ($30 value). Kit includes base fabric, batting and lining for bag, threads, needle, collage fabrics, lace, and fabric to make rope for the strap and instructions. Vintage bits and extras included.

All skill levels welcome. If you can sew on a button you can do this course! Please bring scissors, thimble and favorite needles to class. Extras will be available.
